Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Hills of Aravali. It covers about 800 square kilometers of land. It consists of dry forests and rocky cliffs. History

Sara Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a wildlife reserve in 1955. It was a royal hunting ground of the Alwar state in Rajasthan earlier before it. Later, it was declared part of India's Project Tiger and given the Tiger Reserve status. This sanctuary is known for preserving Majestic Royal Bengal Tigers to save them from extinction.
